Teaching piano and voice lessons is more than an occupation for me. I
love what I do. I love working with people, getting to know them and
channeling that knowledge into music and teaching others to give
music life through them.
With 25 years of experience in teaching beginning piano and beginning
through advanced voice, my goal is to help all ages learn to read,
interpret, and enjoy music. Music is such a personal thing that can
touch us in many different ways. My goal to make it a positive part
of every student's life and to help them meet their musical goals.
Music is a foreign language. When you learn music you are using both
sides of you brain. You are learning eye, hand, brain, mouth, and
foot coordination. You are learning discipline with daily practice
routines, which are skills that are needed throughout your life.
Learning to perform gives you the ability to overcome shyness and
fear of being in front of a group.
The fees are $20.00 per half hour, with piano lessons being half hour
and voice lessons an hour. I get all books for you and you pay me for
them at your first lessons. Payments will be made at the first lesson
of the month for the whole month. As you progress you will have some
say as to what kind of music you will learn, keeping in mind that I
will still select most of the music, from a learning aspect.
